Description I was lucky enough to come across Allison last evening when I went for a walk in hills. At first she was a bit standoffish but after a few minutes she settled down and continued to graze as we shared our time together. I keep hoping to see a new born Bambi but so far that wish has come up empty.

She was the only one I have seen lately ... and I couldn't really tell if she was. From the few shots I got ... although not the greatest shots of the belly in any of them ..... she still looks a bit plump ... I think ... I dunno

At least she is quite relaxed with having me around so I feel like there is a good chance to get a shot of some little ones ... maybe????

yup ... her and the little buck (Mr Scruffy) definitely recognize me although she is not as relaxed as the little buck ... understandable though ...... thanks :]

I thought they did but from everything I had read and heard it is late May and June ..... so apparently not. But I really don't have any real world experience so I don't know for sure. I'll just keep checking I guess and hopefully I will soon see when they do give birth. I saw a different doe (from a distance) yesterday and then again today and she had two yearlings with her but no little ones. Hopefully I can find Allison again and she will let me get close enough to actually see a little one but she's moved again for now.
