This is really beautifully done. But......sorry I'm a major stickler for this...the spots are actually leopard spots.

Critique
I'm just loving these designs you've been doing with eye makeup, however I'd like to talk a little bit about the photography and editing side of things (since my experience with makeup is limited and I doubt I can help you much there

Firstly, I like to aim for photos that show every little pore and spot on the skin. It's important to take photos in a particular way to be able to edit them well. In a lot of the pieces I've seen here, you've been taking the photos indoors I assume? If so, my biggest advice is to always go outside for shots! It's complicated to learn to work with indoor lighting (warm and cold etc) and often people don't have the right equipment either. The best and easiest way is to go outside and work with natural sunlight.

Also, try and get ahold of the best camera you can, anything more powerful than a mobile phone camera should be enough to get the effect needed (snapshot cameras are fine, doesn't have to be a full blown dslr, just not a mobile one). Then attempt to take those photos as clearly, light-filled and focused as you can. AND DO NOT AIM TO OVER EXPOSE. ever A lot of people aim to overespose the skin on their noses to white in order to hide spots etc, this will NOT help, and editing can overcome any amount of spots, freckles etc. You MUST have a good photo to start with for editing to be effective.

THEN, we move to photoshop Start with the original (try to aim for pictures at least 1000px on the shortest side, but no less than 700px really), on the bottom layer. Right click this and select duplicate layer, and apply a surface blur with the sliders to somewhere in the middle for both. Then pull back the opacity of that layer to either 30-50% depending on realistic effect wanted. I start at 30 usually. Then, look for the button at the bottom of the layers panel with a square and a circle inside it. This is the mask button. Hold alt or whichever is your equivalent key and click that button, placing a reversed mask on that blurred layer. This means you can use a black/white brush (the opposite to the colour of the mask), to paint in that blurred skin only where you need it.

From looking at this piece, it would seem you've used gaussian blur at 50+ opacity, which is too strong. If you have spots freckles etc that you need to get rid of, duplicate the layer and use the heal tool (bandaid looking thing) with a soft edge and size just a little larger than the spot you want to cover, and fix blemishes on that layer before duplicating that clean one for blurring. Always try and limit the blurring and go for healing when possible.

Then look at a combination of linear light and soft light blend modes, but masked for the appropriate areas of the eye, and when changing eye colours never go for the hue slider. Painting things in layer by layer and using soft and gradual layer blend modes is needed for that. Also applying black and white versions of the eye are can help with drastic colour changes.

For enhancing natural colours, go to image - adjustments - selective colour. Overall colorus in general go to neutrals and +20 to the three different colours and ignore the black and white. Then for blues etc go back in and add more cyan etc. Works for any colours already present in the picture and automatically picks them out without you having to mask or paint accurately.

For special effect, sometimes I search for cross-processing actions on here in the ps resources area, but its optional

Wow. This is so meticulously done. The part that drops down from the inside of the eye (like a cheetah's) adds a nice touch of realism.

Is goed !

XD
die rondjes/streepjes lijken me moeilijk :#
