Whadya know? A bunch of random Lost chibis! There's really no rime or reason to these particular characters, besides my liking them...^.^Left to right: Horace Goodspeed, the shaggy, bender-loving, tree-exploding, tie-dye wearing hippie leader of the DHARMA Initiative. Oh yeah, and he's a mathematician. Oh yeah, AND he's the one directly responsible for getting Ben to the island. I dunno why he doesn't have a bigger fanbase... ^^'
Next up is Richard Alpert, the strangely handsome, seemingly ageless, mascara-wearing, TOTALLY not-evil higher-up of the Others. Alpert is one of the more mysterious and creepy characters on Lost (which is like being one of the loonier people in the loony bin. xD).
Third in line is Juliet Burke, a renown doctor recruited by the Others to help them with their devastating repopulation problems. Ben was quickly smitten with Juliet-- SO smitten, in fact, that he claimed ownership over her (much to her chagrin). She has proven herself to be talented in more than just medicine; hand-to-hand combat, aptitude with firearms, mechanics and linguistics are just a few abilities in her skill set. (Indeed, she is dressed as a mechanic here).
Last is Ellie, a sharped-tongued Other girl whose youth belies her fierceness. An apparent superior in the Other's infantry, she totes a rifle and enjoys death-marching time-travelers through the jungle. While featured in only one episode to date (and one set in the 1950s to boot), Ellie's name and role has sparked many theories as to her possible identity.

I think that whole stretch of the show with everyone in Dharma was one of my favorite periods of the entire show.
Yeah, Horace really needs more love. Dharma is so cool because the whole scientist-hippie-secularist-spiritualist thing from that decade is such a cool concept and is way underexplored.

Agreed, it was awesome to see the Dharma Initiative in its heyday since we only got short glimpses of it in the previous seasons (=Ben's childhood flashbacks in s3). ^^

Juliet is one of my favorite characters as well. I really can't think of many characters on Lost I dislike, lol... but Juliet is just so down-to-earth (but has a very strong side at the same time). ^^
As for Richard's smexiness, I think his awesome eyelashes are fangirl magnets.
As for Widmore being Dan's father... I hope and pray that it isn't so. That would be too weird. Heck, even Dan being his own father through time-travel wouldn't be that creepy! jk, jk. xxD
But no, I always assumed Ellie and Widmore were more likely siblings than love interests.

Guh, I'm really afraid that Dan is going to turn out to be Widmore's son. Dx As far as the tendency with Freighter Folk seems to go, many of them are born on the Island. That's why I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Dan was born on the Island too. If Ellie is his mother, then the logical choice for a father would be Widmore. Not to mention that that will provide Dan with some classical Lost daddy-issues!
I really hate Widmore, and Roger, and Jack... yeah....

And there's just no way someone as evil and condescending as Widmore could have somebody so sweet and likable as a son... I really hope not at least. DX Widmore was kicked off the island (in part) for having a family off-island... so hopefully Eloise will have a similar story.

But perhaps Widmore and Ellie were brother and sister? When we saw them back in the 1950s, they seemed to be a little snippy toward one another (admittedly, this could be indicative either of a sibling rivalry or lover's quarrel). But Ellie may have been married to somebody with the surname Faraday (or Hawking for that matter) and that would explain why she doesn't have the same last name as her brother.
OR, perhaps she never did marry Dan's father (the proposed Mr. Faraday), and Dan was raised by his dad-- taking on his father's surname instead of his mother's. Or maybe Hawking is an alias, because she doesn't want to be associated with Widmore.
It could really go either way at this point...so it looks like we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one, for the time being at least.
How about we make it interesting, though? If we find out Widmore is Dan's dad before the season is out, I'll draw you a chibi of whatever character you want. If it's revealed Widmore and Eloise are siblings, you have to do a quick little drawing for me.

Horace is my favorite here as well. He's an awesome character and I can't fathom why he doesn't have more of a fanbase. Who couldn't love a hippie mathematician who likes getting drunk and playing with explosives?

This is so awesome serioulsy! Heh its a good things Horace hasn't been blowing up anymore trees. Richard Alpert... me and my brother why the f*ck he never ages at all! It seriously bugs the poo out of me. Its good they Juliet and Sawyer are together now. They work out better then him and Kate. And Ellie... I didn't think about it till the last show but Ellie... Elloise Hawking? How the hell could a tough chick like that be Elloise! Heh just my wild theroies.

I was a little upset by Horace's tree-murder, so I'm happy he isn't out blowing them up anymore too. There's certainly something strange going on with Richard... we probably won't find out what's up with him for awhile, though.
I actually sorta liked Sawyer and Kate, but Sawyer and Juliet make a nice couple as well. And there have been a few theories tossing around that say Ellie is a young Eloise. It would be awesome if they were the same person, but I too wonder how brash, hotheaded Ellie may have become the seemingly all-knowing Eloise Hawking! @@

On the one hand, the chibis are knee-slapping hilarious. Not only are the expressions priceless, but all the extra little details that you added [which your LOST-brethren will likely get] also add such a tremendous amount of interest to their designs. Also, the cold-pressed patterning is not as evident here as much, so that's also great news. ^___^
The problem though is that all your recent chibis don't have anything even REMOTELY resmebling the current cast I'm viewing now (I'm up to S01E08). ^^'
I'm trembling in fear now at the kind of horrific mind-fscks that await me.

Yeah, you'll have to wait... oh, between two and four seasons... to see these characters in action.
But keep watching-- you shall get there eventually! (If you survive all the awesomely awesome mindfsckage along the way, that is to say.) It's totally worth it, though. ^^

Oh, and I finally saw the Crazy French Woman. Won't dare assume she's anyone significant,... I'm kinda half expecting all the current characters to lose relevance after a while, so not getting attached to any of them really.... ^^'
Which I guess is okay, since it was only the Pregnant Woman and the Junkie who were the focus characters in the last episode I left off. Right before the Creepy Mystery Dude showed up at the end.

You have no idea how significant Crazy French Woman (Danielle) is-- no really, she's kicking around until season 4, and makes an appearance in season 5 as well. And her whole backstory plays a very big part of Lost's mythology.
Alas, you'd be shocked just how long these characters stay relevant for-- on Lost, there's no such thing as an insignificant or uninteresting character. Pregnant Woman, Junkie and Creepy Dude included (hell, ESPECIALLY that Creepy Dude).
Don't worry-- all shall be explained in it's time.
