Nice designs. PDP-10-kun's my favorite. I just love that funky outfit. It really shows his age well.

Yeah, you really can't beat the hippie-scientist look. x3

You picked that shade of orange just to annoy meβI know it.
CHINESE.
RED.
THE PANELLING ON A DECSYSTEM 2020 IS CHINESE RED.
aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Drats! You've seen right through my plan!
EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A PDP-8-TAN, WHEN I DO GET AROUND TO MAKING A DECSYSTEM 2020-TAN I SHALL MAKE HER AS ORANGE AS POSSIBLE JUST TO ANNOY YOU. MWAHAHA.

Well, yeah, see, that's what makes it even worse. A PDP-8's panelling is amber! @_@

Amber, orange, whatever, they're all terrible terrible colours for a computer.
According to Wikipedia, the colour of the DECSYSTEM-20 was neither Orange nor Chinese Red but "Terracotta"; though the Jargon File disagrees. Who to believe?

Well. Maybe. Maybe we should ask the Honeywell 6180 about what it thinks the best colour for a computer is.
Terracotta? Madness. ESR would never lie to me! ...except for all those times he lied about ARPAnet. And that one picture of a Xerox workstation in the Art of Unix Programming that claims the plainly visible chord keyset is an early graphics tablet. Seriously, how do you screw that up? IT HAS GIANT PIANO KEYS.
Conclusion: I'm inclined to believe Wikipedia.

PDP-8 is looking a little R. Dorothy Wainwright. Not a bad thing, certainly not, neither is PDP-10's hippie scientist look.

Huh, but I don't see it. D:
There's so much story potential for PDP 10-kun, I hope I can do something interesting with him. ^^
