Description
After watching the new series, Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix, it inspired me to do a portrait of a samurai warrior in a monochrome style. I looked up photo references on what picture I wanted to paint, and when I was doing some research, I noticed that a lot of Japanese portrait paintings are done with watercolor or ink. I've decided to go with acrylics and oil for something different and something that people haven't seen a lot of.
