a bunch of airsofters where do you live I have an electric M4a1 custom carbine with a silencer and its like no one in Ohio airsofts? tell me is gas better then electiric as i'm just starting out

electric is cheaper and better as long as you get good batteries

Go to a site called Redwolf or Airsoft GI for your first couple guns. I have a VFC SCAR-L AEG and a ARES M200 Spring/Gas rifle. Both are amazing, but both are expensive for their class.
If you're looking for a decent M4, then go with the [link]

I'm sorry if that came off negative. To many times have I seen kids steal their parents equipment (and ruin it) to go play. If you guys bought that stuff yourself then kudos. It must have cost at least $2000 without the weapons. Speaking of which are those real weapons? Where I live an M4A1 would cost about $3000 with all the equipment you guys have on it. Once again, sorry 'bout my comment.

the equipment isnt really that expensive they are wearing here. Looks like a CIRAS vest and some gortex DCU. maybe about 500 depending if they actually put plates in there... which is a bad idea for airsoft.

Oh wow, I posted that original a looooong time ago. I think it would cost a bit more than $500 though. Between all their hard equipment I'd say that would run about $500-$600. The weapons themselves would probably cost just that much alone. Throw in spare mags and what ever clothing they think looks tactical and that's gotta push it over $1200 easy.
