Description For the Trinquette challenge.


Surprisingly this is the first time I've drawn her.  And of course, being the comic book ignoramus that I am, I know nothing about her other than what pinups I've seen...what is her power anyway?  I don't even know which publisher to give credit to .

ok if you saw Man of Steel then you know that the S on his chest was his family's symbol. Power girl, having no family in this dimension, has no symbol, hence the most obvious feature of her costume. YES... I win the biggest dork with no life award!!!!

No human can pretend to be perfect, each one has his/her own point of view. 

But yours has something special: the point of view of an artist. Even if you don't know a lot of her, I love how you see her. 

True love of the women, their flaws and their qualities. Be it conscious or not. And that's what I feel in your art, and I really appreciate it

Actually I am curious!  Every panel I've seen with her seems to have a humorous bent, so I feel like I really ought to pick up a book.  But maybe it's just people making fun of the window.

There are about 20 issues that are VERY well written (JSA Classified 1-4, Terra 1-4 and then Power Girl 1-12), all of which drawn by Amanda Conner, who brings all that comedy and quality. A lot of the rest? Not quite as good - she's a fun character though, when treated right - snarky, confident and fun.

There's a great trade paperback coming out this week with 16 of those 20 issues all together - or if you're looking for online copies, let me know and I can drop you a dropbox link if you're interested in some comedy.


The first 4 issues are mostly stand-alone, but the Power Girl issues are totally stand-alone, you don't need to know anything about the DC Universe at all to dive in and read.
