It's like a old voice wispering around my ears and telling me to wake my animal nature! Yeah! I mean your pictures! On one hand it is a super strict work but on the other hand it's like the mystery creepy voodoo music are calling U into delusion! Awesome work! Really shocked me!

What beautiful technique this is!!!
I truly love the scratchy non-clean forms that suggest movement very effectively. Those 5 panels are also good snapshots suggesting that things are moving so quickly there is no time to catch much.

i read the 5 episode and i got to say they are really good.
you technic of draw match perfecly with the motion book.
and it's really a new style it Β totaly change from what we see befor on the comics and books.
what is better i thinks is you are more inside the story and the action part are better that in a normal books.
in the same time i think it ask more work and it's hard to made the story go on yes?
also i think for the people who don't really read comics or manga before it's more easy to read.
i think what is a little hard for me is to concentrated on the text because there is a lote of music and move.Β
finally motion book is Β a new style and i m sur it will find is hown people to folow it, and that is great.
and really what a great style you got it's just really really nice.Β

Ben, I LOVE what you're doing on MONO. The mood is so authentic... you've literally put me in a room filled with antiques, trophies and other war spoils. I must have walked around that room for a good thirty minutes! I may have even purloined a bauble or two... *lol*
Eugene has a Vimeo post which explains how the process is done, but you made it look so seamless.
The colour is so well appointed, operating in complete service to the your line work and the overall mood. I can smell the animal fur, the dark damp cold, the gunpowder.

Tony thank you so much for the thoughtful commentary on the MONO Panorama in Episode 4 - it is a lot of work to do - but worth it for the right story moment - it is literally the reveal of the Old Curiosity Shop - so it aces sense as a 'gatefold' moment. Coloring credit has to go to Fin Cramb - he did a lovely moody job - i totally agree - and kept aware of the detailed line without being 'bound' by it - he achieved a real atmosphere which to me is the key⦠Thanks again - working on MONO 6 - will post some latest pages
