Description So... yeah. Tried a new colouring method. Tiresome. With the Painter crashing, as usual.

This started out as a sketch on one of my ST sheets.

And Romulans come from the world of Star Trek, which I do not own, just in case you thought I did. -.-

I'm not very familiar with the world of Star Trek, but how is it obvious that the woman is not Vulcan?

Eh, based on appearance she might as well be a Vulcan. Though I think she looks a bit too haughty and self-satisfied to be a cool, emotionless, logical Vulcan gal.

But the main reason is that I wanted to make her a Romulan, so a Romulan she is.

hm, different... since this is new subject matter, i'm not sure which coloring style i prefer XD you'd have to do a subject you commonly do with this new coloring style to make an adequate comparison...
it's nice though

Ah well, the results aren't all that different between the two styles. Except that with this method there are no contours, which I usually have around everything these days.

ahh, i understand. i knew the difference was subtle, but i couldn't put my finger on it without something to compare... both ways are nice
