This is how I imagine Celestia when she wakes up. No jewellery, the mane a bit messy and no confident smile. Just a little pony wondering if she can deal with whatever this new sunrise will bring.
(but like a true princess she still looks pretty Β )
I wanted to draw on toned paper for ages, but never found one at any store. Now that I finally got one I have to admit that it doesn't turn out like I thought it would, but I like it^^

Beautiful!Β I love your 'behind the scenes' drawing of Celestia here and how even without her regalia she looks like a princess mostly due to her natural divine beauty but also how she holds herself.Β Β She looks so lovely and calm here and I can see that she has a positive outlook on what the new day will bring.Β

To me she always had some sort of elegance that showed her royalty more than all that gold on her. I wanted to picture that she isn't the princess who has all the answers. She is strong and wise, but she knows she can make mistakes like everypony else. So before going out there to be Equestrias light, she takes a few moments to clear her mind and just enjoy the sunrise^^
