Hi hi~this is another of my works recently done C: this time i wanted to experiment a little with colour shadows, so i hope you like it!
Done in paint tool SAI, about 2-3 hours

Vision & Originality:
A dream-like painting that evokes the sense of 'looking out the window' or daydreaming. The pleasing expression on the face draws you in and when mixed with the colour it gives a pleasant warm feeling; which is a kin to literally staring at the window daydreaming. It's a very evocative feeling and very pleasing.
Technique:
Coloured shadows are never easy, so it's nice to see a high level of understanding and use of shadows with hues. The hair is very well done and following the gradient is a very impressive use of the light and colour change - something that only becomes harder with coloured shadows.
The eyes are also well done, clear yet not sterile, the perfect balance.
Impact:
A nice painting that makes use of the very difficult coloured shadow technique; which has been pulled off extremely well.
