"Miss!" Dynamite scrambled through the hallway after the mysterious mare. She had only arrived minutes before, but Dynamite was already head-over-hooves in love with her.

The blue-grey mare turned at his call, revealing a set of brilliant turqiouse eyes hidden under thick eyeliner.

"Yeah?" she said, raising an eyebrow.

Dynamite, a bit out of breath, leaned back on his haunches and produced a geode. Inside was a set of crystals the same color as the mare's cutie mark. "What do you think of this?"

"It's brilliant," she answered, smiling curiously. "I love geodes. Who are you, by the way?"

"My name's Dynamite," he said. "I'm a junior scientist at this geology facility. And you?"

"Taafeite Sugar," she replied. "My aunt Maud works here."

"Miss Maud is your aunt?" Dynamite's eyes widened. "She's my supervisor! Maud Pie is probably the best scientist on the team!"

"I've heard." Taafeite laughed. Dynamite adored her laugh, even if this was only his first time hearing it. "Could you tell me where she is, by the way? I'm here to visit."

"Down the hall and to the left, in Room 118. It's labeled," he explained automatically.

"Thanks," Taafeite said, running a hoof through her long purple hair. "I'll see you later, Dynamite."

"Bye!" Dynamite watched as she trotted down the hallway. Celestia, she was adorable. And Maud's niece? What a stroke of luck.

Dynamite has a puppy-crush as soon as he lays eyes on her. Taafeite isn't immediately taken by his charms (will she ever be? idk) but hey, it's always nice when a strange pony shows you a pretty geode.
