Description
This painting shows the castle of Greywater Watch from the "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book series. One thing I've always liked about this castle is how little we know of it and how much relevance it still has. Usually, when a point-of-view character enters a castle, the reader gets a quite detailed description of it. But then on the other hand there are castles that are never shown but just talked about, like Casterly Rock, Highgarden, or smaller ones like Karhold, Torrhen's Square or Greywater Watch.

So far, all we know (spoiler scope: mild ACOK) at this point in the series is that Greywater Watch is located somewhere in the swampy landscape called "The Neck", and neither attackers nor ravens can find it because it is on an island that swims. It's the birthplace of Bran's two companions Jojen and Meera Reed, and home to their father Howland, an old friend of Eddard's, who probably knows about Jon Snow's real parentage.
