XD detailed as in the art or how much information is on it? I like to have a a full reference so it’s easier for those drawing it to draw the character XD (I hate drawing characters that have just a shaded artwork for a reference, cannot get the right colours or patterns >->)
you should see KD’s reference XDDD

Yes this is what I ment! Your ref also contains flats so ot would be way easier for me to draw them if I would. So enough visual information! I struggle sometimes with one of my esks from sale that only have shaded ref, so sometimes Idk if I draw them right hehe!

I’m glad to hear my refs are easy to follow ^^
XD if I got a premade Esk with only shaded reference I’d just redraw it with a unshaded so the colour- may not be the exact colour intended- but at least each drawing of them is consistent~

In passin. I went to see the group and i read the concept on Esk species. So, being inspired, i created one. I don't think i'll post it right away, but could you explain to me... just simply, some rules and how it gets organized with the group... before i post it, pls.

Oh awesome! Welcome to the big Esk family!
now! Your lucky I recently got a transformation (I will explain more later) so you can make that Esk just how it is , hopefully (send the design via stash please ^^)
Obtaining your first Esk:
now first: you have to join and make a player profile, should look exactly like this: TWWM player profile (but instead of Bl00dyKidi you have your own ID)
get it checked by submitting it to the player profiles folder
after that you draw other people’s Esks till you get 100 AP(this ARPG requires you to score yourself against yourself 90% independently)
after gaining your first level you can claim your “first” Esk (but it’ll be your second) because this is a closed species you have to earn a MYO(make your own) you claim your MYO at the Nursery
after levelling up a bit you can then claim from the greenhouse
i do suggest you accept my transformation slot as you’ve already designed your Esk (it’s not a good idea if your just started cause the free MYOs have big restrictions)
after gaining your first esk you can start drawing them!(after getting them checked too and making a tracking journal) By drawing your own Esk you gain points for that Esk: GP(growth Points) which allows you to edit them through EE (energy Exchange) or giving transformations when you reach high levels of AP
joining in on events and prompts gives you extra AP and GP
_____________________________________________________
Summery:
*you have to make a profile before you gain AP via artworks produced from you
*the easiest way to gain AP to level up is to draw other people’s Esk characters then keep track of them in a google spreadsheet (or just in your journal)
*you score by yourself but you can ask for help, your also scoring against your art skills and not against others
*to get your own Esk you have to be level 1(100AP) and claim a MYO from the nursery (only once)
example:
origin: traveler . nature: theatrical . boundary: wildflower meadow . size: willowy
uncommon: traits none
rare traits: none
nature features: ever blooming iris (Iris ruthenica)
✔️ can gift, swap (esk only)
❌ cannot trade (non-esk), resell
(The boundary location is up to you, but not the biome)
*after gaining level you can then claim from the greenhouse, you have more freedom with design (I think) but not as much freedom with story
*draw your own approved Esk to gain GP for that Esk only so you can change its design to something more desired. E,g; bold markings? Glowing? Flexible tail?(tails on Esk are almost entirely hair)
*events and prompts give you extra AP/GP as well as drawing other Esk and Esk NPCs

If I’m too confusing you should probably read this instead (and after anyway as I’ve probably got a few things wrong)

Yeah... um... annh... ooohf... I didn't see it that complex ... with this system of things to gain... all that ! I don't want to play seriously actually. In fact it's just a concept art. The creature i have made and his story are inspired directly of Esks, and I would like the community can see this.
Anyway, I send you the design on note. His name is Cosm-Esk-Tic. His story is related to wildlife. The appearance and the name might make you believe something else, but it's voluntary. Originally, he would have been a Striped skunk.
Tell me anyway if he is in order... and if you ask, I could develop more on his story.
Then... after that if it's not convincing, too bad. I'll organize otherwise.

There’s a points calculator to help score artworks, and you can still play casually! But if you do you won’t really get to complete the design if you do join in.
(if you have discord it’ll seem so much simpler with almost 24/7 staff to help)
so until the design is accepted into the masterlist you cannot claim it as an Esk, but you can still post it and say it’s inspired/based on the species Esk!
and I can show people on discord ^^
