This is absolutely stunning work Betcee. The photograph brings out so much emotion... Although, if I may offer some crit... Maybe if you weren't looking at the camera and looking at him the picture might have seemed to be more intimate?
MARS seems to be a caring gentle character in this image... I can see this by the way he is gently touch your side, he seems to have a "peaceful" feeling to him. At the same time however, he seems to be completely under your spell, by the look on his face. He seems to want be there with you more then anything in the world. I must point out, his tattoos are also amazing and add alot more depth to the photo.
You on the other hand, have your hand placed on the back of his head, somehow grasping it firmly. Maybe not the right choice of words, but you get the idea. And the way you seem to be seductively looking at the camera. It seems to make him look like a love sick puppy. And some how you know it 
A photo I think is very commendable. Magnificent job.

Thank you so very much.... I think it is true that if I looked at him rather than the camera the tone would be far more intimate. Intimacy, however, is not always the objective in couple shots. Sometimes I think it is far more interesting to see a contrast in personalities, a tension, edge. Not all relationships or personal dynamics are pretty and soft. I like warm and fuzzy as much as the next person, but Raw and slightly off kilter always grabs my heart along with my eye. In my work, I always strive to go beyond just '

Haha, yes, you do indeed have a very good point there. In fact, I respect that alot because so many people do go for a more intimate approach, you on the other hand go for something more different. Being different and unique is always a good thing when it comes to photography I think. There are so many photos out there, but what you must ask your self is "what will make mine different, and how will it appeal to people differently to other peoples work?" Once you have that figured out, all you can do is continue to move forward in your work, staying one step in front of everyone else.
