A picture I did a while ago. The patterns on the picture are real, hand applied screentones by Maxon. I have a new respect for manga and anime comic artists....this stuff takes a lot longer to apply well than one would think.

For some reason the stuff on her leg scanned incorrectly...it's smooth on the original

I like the effect you were able to get with the different textures in this one, and that it uses elements of female anime mech characters without being obviously based off one immediately identifiable character.
