So that splotch on the right caught my eye the most. There is an awesome artist Id like to share which your little splotches reminded me of. Jean-Claude Gaugy he is incredible, not only for his works but the theory and the underlying story behind them. Tell me what ya think, and I wish you could remember how you did them because it would be fun to experiment with those splotches

Sure, i have something in common with Gaugy. The colors, mostly! (He's great, i didn't know his work until now).
About the splotches... impossible to remember... I scanned papercuts and used color layer above them. And lots of PS effects.
