Description I came home to find nobody around. So I hunted for and found my christmas present (a G3!), and shot this before paranoia got the better of me.

(nerves all over)
I am here for criticism. Hit me with it. But fullview first.

I'm afraid I've only just received this comment; I'm not around here much any more. If you still want to use my image then send me a message about it.

this is a very excellent photo. I don't know what to say, critique wise!

all I can do is suggest playing with the negative space, maybe use that to express what the model is screaming about (using the large empty wall to suggest oppression from a mysterious source). like a large 'empty' square with the head in the bottom center 1/9th of the frame... but that's my personality, not yours).

this was found on sterling's favlist, btw. It's definitely a deserved position!

Funny you should say that. This is a version that I discarded while working on this piece. I half-wish I had kept a little more space above the figure, now. Still, learning process, blah blah.

Thank-you for commenting.

i love this peice. I love the fact that you captured so much emotion. And i LOVE the fact that your face is not centered.......i hade artists who think that in order for a picture to be perfect, the model has to be centered........ nicely done. Mucho Props

i love everything about this shot, the teture on the wall, the hair, the lighting on the neck and how it defines every curve, and the almost perseptible scream that oozes from the shot ...

well done

I think the latter is already a band name...

punctured [2003-12-18 21:50:22 +0000 UTC]

Usually the screaming and angst, and " goddamnit I'm pissed" pictures are very unpleasant, but I find this very stylish. Probably because it's viewed from the side, so you don't see the whole pissed off face; leaves more room for imagination. I don't know how to critisize photos, but an interesting variation would be that, with a totally white (or black) background.
