The notification on Spookbook from the private group "FTHS Fashion" told you that the showdown was going to be held in an abandoned garage on the east side of town. You made your way to the dropped pin on your map app and end up in front of an abandoned grey concrete building with no signs of activity. As you scratch your head, you see another monster in full show regalia scamper behind the side of the building and you follow them to a rusty old door with handprints all over its dusty surface. This has got to be it! You open the door and see stairs that descend into near total darkness yet you can faintly hear the echoes of music floating by your ears. You tread deeper and deeper until you reach a second door. A slide at eye level opens and a pair of angry red eyes glare out at you. "What's the password?" it rumbles menacingly. "Freaks!" you reply, hoping that the monster on Spookbook was correct. The slide closes and the door opens to bright lights and pumping music. Welcome to the Fashion Showdown!Β

For a big party, this sure as hell was sketchy. Was he stupid for following an invitation from a monster he barely knew? Probably. Was he gonna pass up an opportunity like this though? Hell no! Even if high fashion wasn't exactly his thing, his competitive nature made any challenge something he'd be interested in. After finally being able to get past the doorman, Blaise decided he was going to check everything out first just to see what was really going on here. Everyone definitely was dressed to the nines for this event and it looked like there were some kids from one of the douchey rival schools. He could only think if all this was their doing. Regardless, the elemental made his way through and slid into a few conversations to try and get some more info and see if he could get any deets on what they'd be up against.

You whisk a drink off the platter that the strange butler dude has in his hand and scour the crowd for someone worthy of your time. Over by the wall, you see someone messing around with the sound and light system and they look super stressed. On the other side of the venue you see a group of Legius kids giving everyone some mean side-eye.Β

After downing the snatched drink and feeling a small after burn from whatever was in it, Blaise shook his head for a moment before deciding to make his way towards the person messing with the PA system. As much as he wanted to shoot the shit with the Legius kids, he knew that if he nobody helped this pathetic soul out then the party was gonna flop from the get-go. How much more uncool could that get?! Besides he felt he had at least enough common knowledge to get this thing up and running again before the fashion show really got rolling. An arm swung around the shoulders of the struggling tech as he eyed up what they were doing. βSo whatβs the hang up? Lemme give you a hand before this party is run to the ground.β

As you get closer you realize the person running the sound and light system is none other than Physara of FTHS! As you offer to help, she tells you she's not sure if the spotlights are too strong or not strong enough. As she thinks out loud, she continuesΒ to fiddle with the different settings.

Though he knew who she was, he'd not yet interacted with Physara. She was a DJ right? You'd think this kind of stuff would be pretty much up her alley, but clearly she was struggling with it. Listening to her mumbling, Blaise stood up straight and pointed towards the stage momentarily. "Yo, maybe this'll help out. I'll get on stage and I can tell you if they're too much or not." Before she was able to respond to him, the elemental was moving towards the spotlight and got in just the right position to see if everything was set up right.

He had to admit, it was a little boring just standing on stage and waiting, but as he was up there he made it a point to look fabulous as he stayed there for her. Every now and again he'd speak up and give her some feedback as he stayed up on the stage. He could feel eyes looking up at him from time to time, but regardless of it all, he remained cool and calm so they could just get it over with and fix the situation.

The stage director sees you just standing there and pulls you off stage to put you to work as an usher. Flustered and confused, you wander around backstage to collect your bearings when a security guard taps you on the shoulder and throws you outside. You really are a nobody...
