Is Sad And Twisted How The Guys Of Hollywood Take And Create Their Own Pocket Mitology In Each Film About Super Heroes...

What I Want Said With That? Just Seen The Last Film Of Batman... And Comparing That With Batman Animated Series And With The Comics...

Barbara Gordon Is Batgirl! OK... But Originally Likes The 60Β΄s Series Of The Soap Comedy At Those Years For T.V. Barbara Gordon Was The Daughter Of The Comissioner Gordon, She Uses A Mast With Red Head.

In The Film Of Batman And Robin From The Infamous Filmography After Tim Burton BatmanΒ΄s I And II Take A BLONDE! Batgirl, Who Was The Niece Of Alfred... The Buttler And Confident Of Bruce Wayne Istead Be The Daughter Of Jim Gordon.

And If You Check The Batman Series Before "Batman The Animated Series" And Before The Series Of "Batman, The Brave And The Bold" We Can Find The Begining Of A Barbara Gordon A Bit Tolerable Than The Films Treatment For The Character Of Barbara Gordon.

WhatΒ΄s Next? Batgirl Sister Of Robin? Cousin Of Bruce Wayne? Another Stupid Version??? Anyway... Batgirl Became Confined To A Wheeled Chair After The Crisis Of The Infinite Earths During The Events Of "Killing Joke" With The Jocker Shooting Her In The Spine. Now Barbara Gordon Use Her Priviligiated Brain Likes Oracle.

BUT! I Ever Can Imagine Barbara Gordon Likes That Heroic Girl Who Jim Gordon Never Discovered Anything About Her Double Life Likes A Crime Fighter Who Helped Batman Many Times But Ever Having Her Own Precense!

Wow! such a cute style!! Straight to my favorites!

I'm not sure if Batgirl is going to be in the movies anytime soon, but if you watch The Dark Knight carefully, then you'll notice that in the final scene with Two-Face and Jim Gordon's family, that he does indeed have a young daughter. So, basically that confirms that in the future, there is going to be a Batgirl.

I don't think Nolan has plans to put her into future films, since his idea is to show the start of Batman's career, and since Gordon's daughter is only about 6 or 7 in The Dark Knight movie, that basically means were a good 10 years away from her becoming Batgirl.

My feelings tell me that Nolan is going to quit after the 3rd film, and then leave the rest to out imagination, unless, with a great probability, WB. hires a new director who takes on the story where Nolan left off, and then we might see Batgirl.

Thank you very much! =]
You're right, she's just a kid in the second movie so there must be a gap of some years in the story to make her able to become Bat girl. If they keep the rithm, she should appear in the sixth or seventh movie. XD
These new Batmovies are really cool, but the Tim Burton's version of Batman is still my favourite (even considering that you have the Beetlejuice guy under the bat mask! hehe!).
Thanks for comment! ^_^

Well, i agree on the Burton films.

The Nolan films have traded in the artistic style for a realistic one, and it all depends on wich one you prefer.

While i love the setting of the Nolan films, i do feel that, if this extends to a point where Nolan is gonna say that they can't use villains like Killer Croc, Manbat, or Clayface because they aren't realistic enough, then i do feel that the series isn't gonna last very long after the 3rd film.

What Tim Burton did with the films was his style, and it fit wonderfully with the dark Gothic style of the Batman world.

The negative side of Burton's films is that in turn he didn't pay much attention to the comicbook storyline, and as a result of that, neither did Schumacher.
The guy who killed Batman's parents WAS just a random thug named Joe Chill, not the joker, and the alter-ego of Jack Napier goes against the basic concept of the Joker, because the idea of the Joker as a character in the comics is supposed to be that nobody knows who he really is other then as the clown prince of crime.

I can understand why Burton made those changes. When he was hired to do BATMAN, his idea was that this was going to be just one movie without any sequels, so he wrote a story that was one story on it's own.
In that sense, the discovery that Napier killed Batman's parents, and the result of that being that The Joker dies in the end of the film, was written so that the story had a full closure.

Nolan went into making Begins with full awareness that there was going to be at least 2 sequels, so the build up of the films is radically different.
It depends on what you prefer. The Burton films are much better as one shot movies. There is no need to have seen Batman before Batman Returns.

Without The Dark Knight, Batman Begins is a great film, but it did feel like it was "just the beginning" of a bigger story, specially with it's ending.

...while The Dark Knight was more of a one shot, but again it makes you leave the theatre begging for more, because it ends with all these questions about what happens next.

The Burton films never ended with a question about what's next, but in turn they had these feel good triumphant endings that are pure gold. As a kid, i went crazy when Catwoman's head popped up to confirm she's still alive. YAY!

But because Burton had changed the alter-ego of the Joker, this gave Joel Schumacher and Akiva Goldsman an excuse to change the alter-ego of Batgirl from Gordon's daughter to Alfred's niece.

In that sense, the fact that Jim Gordon's daughter has a role in The Dark Knight, is pretty much an answer to that. It's a small confirmation that time, we're doing things right.

For story, you go for Nolan. For style, you go for Burton...

For BOTH, you go for THE ANIMATED SERIES!

Batman is a legend. So are Superman, X-Men, Spiderman, Wonder Woman and all the other kick ass heroes. As legends, each writer give their own versions of the stories, changing details. It's wonderful because the character never dies in people's memories. They are always being reborn with new details, but keeping their very own spirits. The JokerΒ΄s origin is a mistery in comics, but the origin created by Burton, linking his story with batman's, is very cool too. It's one of the details that made Burton's film unique. His contribution to build the legend. Nolan's Batmobile and Joker are other great contributions. I like both but I still prefer Burton's. =]
And sure the animated series rocks!

Batgirl , the character who refuses to take her gratuitous maiming in the comics lying down. I believe it was Bruce Timm who was asked about the inclusion of Batgirl in the animated Batman and said: Who doesn't love Batgirl? Everyone does. Except , maybe the people at DC comics." Yeah , yeah , I know Oracle's popular. But Batman gets to wear the suit after healing from HIS twisting spine breakage. It ain't fair and you know it!
