Description Finally done! This is my final project for my Typography class, and the assignment was to create a self-portrait (either realistic or caricature) using only type. We could change size and opacity, but we couldn't distort the letters in any way (aside from flip/rotation). We couldn't change or erase the letters, either :/ It was actually really hard.

I used a JPEG picture of myself and sketched lines over it for my base, then tried to fill in the lines as best I could with letters. Pain in the ass...

I'm glad it's done, and I'm pretty happy with it ^^ Particularly since I've already seen what my peers have turned in...

Time to get to work on my Flash project....

It looks great. I didn't recognize it at first, but the guiding lines around the block-text are stylized letters themselves...

Yeah, we weren't allowed to use anything but letters/symbols :/ It's so awesome that I could learn to do this in InDesign in just a few weeks, right? >.> <.<

Y-yeah, what a great program...

I think the block text is quite obviously photoshop, but big-letter outlines could be InDesign...

-plots how it could be done in InDesign just in case-

Haha, maybe xD I want to draw my fursona for my DA ID~ or maybe PW Lu, I've been thinking about drawing her too. Just haven't had time yet :/

I do, I just threw them in as my own little touch xD It's supposed to be a self-portrait, right? And I did always used to wear cat ears...

Last night I totally dreamed I was a fox. Not an anthro-foxy, either, but an actual one ^^

That's terrible Kris-chan XD but it really does look awesome I didn't even noticed it was letters for a moment. Great work I hope you got a good grade on it!
