...cause Ferai totally killed that sucker for doing what he did at the end of DA2. Anders had it coming!!!!!I imagine, if they all meet up in DA:I that Rynn would have to have this conversation - she's a bleeding heart, real softie, loves everyone. Ferai well... is Ferai. Unapologetically so.

Thought that the cat lover in Awakening was already dead in DA2.

Wearing the same Anders shaped meatbag, I think. I really miss Awakening Anders, what he became in DA2 made me very fucking angry at the writers.

I can't remember if I killed Anders or not.Β But it was too late.Β They'd already killed Anders.Β He was dead all along, from the moment DA2 began.Β Him and Justice both.

I agree though, I remembered Anders from Awakening, bickering constantly with Oghren, making wildly inappropriate jokes, generally carefree and having a great time, even after Justice. He was -cool-. Then in DA2 he's turned into the kind of ratbag douchemonkey you want to punch in the mouth. Or I did. Argh no.

Yeah, I liked Awakening Anders, even if he was a bit of a poor man's Alistar, but he was fun and that was the important thing.Β I can handle a fun character having a huge swing in attitude, but we didn't even get to see that transformation, it all happened between games.
Oddly enough it was the loss of Justice that bothered me the most.Β Justice was a fantastic character, all through DA we'd learned about the evil spirits and how they just love to cross over and screw with people while the good spirits just stayed away.Β And here was a good spirit trapped in our world, unwittingly.Β In a zombie body!Β He was fantastic and he deserved a better end than to be the reason Anders turned into such a wicked jerk.
(uh btw the real reason I wandered over here to rant about DA is actually because this is amazingly good painting and I'm bad at staying on subject)
