Description Might of the Island
by Biffiea
Male to Lugia

“Okay Golduck, we’re going out today!” Dalan said as he woke up his faithful side kick, Golduck. He had been Dalan’s partner since day one, and Dalan had taken special care of him when he was a psyduck, always being patient when the pokemon ignored him, and helping through his head aches. After he evolved into a Golduck, the two had been best of friends, and where always working together.
Dalan had lived near the sea for most of his life. His father had been the captain of a fishing trolly, so he had gotten used to sea life at an early age. Unlike every other kid at his High School, he had no desire to be a trainer. His ties to the ocean were to strong for such a huge land journey. Twenty years old, he was pretty fit. Life on the water tends to involve a lot of work. He stayed clean shaven, and always wore a button up shirt and jeans, when he wasn’t in his diver’s suit. He kept his brown hair short, and never bothered to style it, after all, he was going in the ocean a few minutes later.
Dalan got up, and went into his dock cabin. He was a professional diver, and took various odd jobs. Mostly, he went looking for things people had dropped under water. He and Golduck were good at it though, and they put enough money together to maintain the boat, and pay the docking fee.
“Morning Dalan! Goin’ out today?” It was Marty. He rented the dock space next to Dalan. Unlike Dalan, he wasn’t out here for his career. He just liked to come out and be on his boat for a weekend. Still, he was a really cool guy, and liked to throw parties. During the week, he ran a large pokemart, and must have raked in a nice profit. He was pretty young, no older than thirty.
“Yeah, a ship went down in the whirl islands.” Dalan was loading his air tanks in to the back of the boat.
“Why are treasure hunters hiring a diver to get their boat back?” Marty said with a confused look on his face.
     “Not treasure hunters. Fishermen.”
“There are fishermen stupid enough to get close to the whirl islands?”
“Apparently. There are a few rare pokemon swimming around there. Morons like to try and catch them. Good thing too. I get a lot of business diving for their swag. One of these morons apparently lost a very expensive wedding ring.” He gave a chuckle.
“How do you get close enough without wrecking your boat?”
“Oh, I anchor a good distance out, then swim in underneath the whirlpools. The water is completely calm down there, plus, the maelstroms look awesome from under water.”
“Well, hope you don’t sink out there!”
“I’ll keep it in mind Marty!” Marty walked off back to his boat.
“Gold!” Golduck had sprung in front of Dalan holding a fish in both hands.
“Hey thanks Golduck” He said with a laugh. He started the grill on his boat, and out his fish on the grill, while Golduck just threw his into his beak, and swallowed. “After breakfast where setting out for whirl islands. It’ll take about two hours to get there. We have have enough extra fuel right?”
“Duck!” He said with a nod. Dalan’s attention went back to his cooking fish. The air was completely calm, and the water was as smooth as glass. Though, this early in the morning, the dock was normally calm. The fisherman that docked there had gone out ours earlier, and pleasure cruises went out closer to the afternoon. For now, it was a very peaceful scene.

A few hours later, the whirl islands where coming into view on Dalan’s binoculars, and so where the powerful surface currents that constantly streamed around the top. These where some of the most turbulent waters in the world, but for a diver like him, they meant little. He just swam under them. “Golduck, why don’t you lay the anchor and get us steady while I put on my diving suit.”
“Golduck!” Was the reply. Dalan had been out here several times, picking the pieces up after idiots brought their boats out here. There was supposed to be some kind of powerful pokemon living inside, and the view of the islands was magnificent at night, which attracted the pleasure cruises. These two things combined made it a perfect place for people to lose valuables and entire ships.
Dalan’s gear was pretty typical. The single piece latex black diving suit. It was designed specifically to keep him warm under water, that way he could stay down a long time. Next he loaded his huge yellow tank onto his back. It had enough oxygen for 10 hours, more than enough for this job. Then he put his goggles on, and let them rest on his forehead. It was mostly a standard mask, except he could switch it to night vision. Incredibly helpful in dark water this far out.
He stepped out of his boat cabin, and stood on the deck, staring at the direction he needed to go. He knew that the glass look of the water ended only about 100 yards away. The buoys marking the area as having, “turbulent waters” floated all around. It was the closest he dare get to the islands. The second he steered the boat into the powerful, yet invisible, tides past the buoys, he would get pulled to the islands, the whirl pools, and the large rocks that marked the edge of the islands. There where choppers that made fly byes over the area just to look for boats, and make sure moronic fishermen didn’t get dashed to bits.
“Okay Golduck, I’m goin’ down. Keep the boat safe.” With that he pulled the mask down over his eyes, turned around to give Golduck the thumbs up, which was returned, and went over the edge of the boat.
The coldness of the water was always an initial shock, but years of diving for a living allowed him to get over it quickly, and he soon felt perfectly at home in the water. He started his swim to whirl islands. Being near the surface allowed the currents to bring him along.
Half was to the whirl islands, Dalan started to descend into the deeper waters, where there was no powerful current. It was more work, but it was better than being dashed to bits against rocks. In any seagoing career, you learned that nature was more powerful than the best laid plans, and Dalan took no chances with forces this powerful.
As the water darkened a bit around him, he turned on his night vision. These long swims were always perfect times to reflect, and be lost in though. There was nothing carnivorous around in these water, except for Gyarados. They were rare, and the one time he had seen one,  it had swam right by him, so he had nothing to worry about.
Just the vastness of the ocean was a harsh reminder about how small he was. A million yards in each direction was nothing but water, and that little patch contained more life than the whole of the mainland. Just thinking about it could be overwhelming.
It also nagged at his solitary life style. His only real human friend was Marty, and he was only at the dock on weekends. Dalan occasionally phoned his parents, but the only real friend he made constant contact with was Golduck, and he usually stayed behind to make sure the boat didn’t float away. Luckily, you couldn’t dive alone in these waters.
Dalan saw something swimming at him fast. A Remoraid. Anytime he floated near here, there was always one of these pokemon that escorted him around. They basically thought they could eat food off him like a Mantine. The young diver didn’t mind though. The fish made for good company. He smiled and stroked the fish down its spine. It smiled back at him, and swam underneath his chest.
Twenty minutes later he passed underneath the whirl pools. It was a relief to be passed them. He looked up for a moment and stared at the wonder. The maelstroms were like nothing else. The biggest in the world, and they went on continuously, never ceiling in their guardian duties of the islands. It was these whirlpools that gave rise to stories about a legendary pokemon living here. He didn’t believe in that though. The funky shape of the islands lent itself to strange currents.
The area around the rock was surprisingly shallow, and he would have no problem getting to the floor. He dove down more, straining the sight on his goggles to see the bottom. He had to begin his search for the fishermen’s... there it was. The boat was right beneath him! “Holy cow!” he thought to himself, “I never find the boats this fast! Must just be a good day.” He looked at the name. Magikarp Fury. The diver, and all other divers for that matter, could never forget that name. Finding the ring was a five minute task of going inside the boat’s cabin, and looking for something shiny.
As he and his remoraid escort emerged with their prize, he thought about how lucky he was. This entire area just treated him differently. Most everyone else saw this place for the torrential water, and jagged rocks. Dalan had always seen the place as serene, if a bit hazardous to his boat. He felt something bump into his legs and spin him. A quick look of the area showed it was a Mantine, swimming happily along with two remoraid in tow. He sometimes envied how care free those pokemon could be. He also sometimes wondered how those things didn’t constantly swim into rocks.
Well, he had the entire after noon off. “Time to get back to Golduck.” Then after a quick glance, he saw a hole in a giant rock wall, and what a hole. It was ginourmas!. The outer wall of one of the islands was an imposing sight to even him, but a hole in the wall would allow him inside. There was supposed to be a huge network of caves inside, and who knows, maybe their really were rare pokemon inside.
“Golduck won’t expect me back for hours, I have time for this.” He started to propel himself to the hole. There was a flurry of motion in his peripheral vision. He noticed his remoraid had swum away. “Probably wanted a spot on that Mantine.” He went into the cave.

As he swam inside, he noticed that the pool he was in opened up shortly. He broke water, and crawled his way onto the surface. The first thing he noticed was that the room was too bright for him to use his night vision. He pulled off his goggles, and looked around the giant room he was in.
It looked like a giant natural warehouse. No, it was even bigger than a ware house. “It looks like this entire island is a giant hollow rock!” Dalan said to no one. There were several large holes in the top of the ceiling that let in plenty of light, and left everything well illuminated. The area was mostly flat and plain. Every now and then there was a branch off from the main cavern. One thing struck him as being really odd. And it nearly killed him.
In the middle of the floor was a giant hole. “Holy cow! I almost walked right into it! I’ll have to keep my eyes open. Wait... why is there a ladder going down it?” It was resting on the far side of the pit, and looked like it went down to a lower level. “Nobody has ever been in here, or I’d have heard about it. How in the world is there a ladder here?” He walked past the hole, deciding it was best not to take a chance going down the hole.
There were small platforms and ledges everywhere. There were even little pools here and there. Then as he explored, Dalan found a giant wall filled with... , ”Statues!” There were indentations every where, and each had a shelf with a statue on it. They all had a common theme too.
They all depicted a bird. One Dalan instantly recognised. “Lugia! These are offerings to Lugia!” Indeed, each was an old tribal statue, created as gifts to legendary pokemon. They were treasures beyond treasures. Each one could fetch thousands of dollars.
A gleam of light caught Dalan’s eye. In the corner, was one carved out of gold...

She was impressed. No human had ever made its way into her retreat before. Though, as she watched the human stare at her golden statue, she was almost angry. People had worked hard to give her those gifts, and she planned to keep and treasure them for a long time. She read the human, looked into his soul, tried to determine weather or not she should force him out of her cave. Being psychic, she could read minds. Being a legendary, she could read souls and memories with the ease of glancing through a children’s book. It wasn’t long before she noticed, that not only was he not dangerous, but he was something special. Honor, courage, charity. All present in this human. “He’s led a lonely life. A shame, with such a wonderful soul.”

“I can’t do it.” His hands were at the base of the golden statue of Lugia. “It’s a tribute to Lugia, and a pretty one at that. I can imagine how angry I would be if someone stole something like this from me.” It was a bit hard not to take the golden statue of its shelf. Here was a new boat, docking fees for the rest of his life, and a dock shack large enough to put houses to shame, but he still had to let it go.
He took one look around. “Lugia must live around here. That opening looked more than big enough for one. I’ll get out of its home before temptation gets to me again.” As he started walking back toward the entrance, he heard something whoosh overhead, and felt a gust a wind. The young diver looked around and saw nothing.
When Dalan got back to the entrance, lying on the foot prints he left in the dirt when he first entered was a large silver feather. “Woah!” He picked it up, held it too his eyes, and checked it over a thousand times in his head. With no one to talk to, he simply looked behind him, and said, “Thank you! I’ll make sure I never lose it.”
He stashed the feather under his diving suit, put his goggles back on, and got back into the pool.
“A wonderful human.” She though. “I can’t wait until it’s finished.”

As Dalan swam out, he reflected on how lucky he had just been. There were only a few human being that even got close to Lugia. He had gotten away with a feather. Something inside him was celebrating how he had left the statue on the shelf.
The diver saw another remoraid swim at him. “Without fail, one of you guys always show up... wuh?” He saw a few more remoraid behind the first, then a few more. There was an entire school or remoraid out to get him!
Dalan braced himself for what he thought was going to be an all out attack on his person. He closed his eyes, and cringed, but the assault never came. The diver nervously opened his eyes. They were all floating around him, looking directly at him. He nervously kicked his legs propelling him forward slightly. He thought it would cause the school to scatter away from him, but each fish turned, and swam along side him. Now he was just weirded out. The confused human made swinging motions with his hands, using every gesture he could think of to make the swarm go away, but they stayed by his side. “Why in the world are they acting like this? I’ve never had more than a single remoraid follow me. Now, I’m a magnet for the darn things.”  He swam forward, hoping that this time, they would go away, but every last fish followed him on his swim back to the boat.
He was careful not to hit any of his escorts, but didn’t feel bad when he would accidentally whack one, after all, they were swimming too close to him. Then, a large figure blocked his vision, and came to a halt a few feet in front of him. It was a Mantine staring him right in the face. Not just one, a family of of them. Two Mantines with three Mantykes swimming around them. Now he knew something strange was happening. Mantine, even Mantykes, never paid attention to their surroundings. They always floated around carelessly. These had stopped specifically to look at him and say hi. They moved over to his side, and Dalan, as confused as ever, kept swimming. He noticed in his peripheral, the family of Mantines was following him. Dalan didn’t stop though. He wanted to distance himself from the strangeness, and his boat was the best place for that.

About an hour later there weren’t just remoraid and Mantine swimming around him. Every kind of under water pokemon you could think of was there. Each of them swimming around him at his exact pace. Dalan was on the the virge of freaking out. All these water pokemon. “It must have something to do with the feather.” All kinds. Magikarp, tentacool, tentacruel, goldeen, seaking. Schools of them stalked his every move. He just wanted to get back to his boat, but he wondered, would they follow him back to port?

Eventual he made it back to his boat, and desperately clawed at the latter to get back up. He had been surrounded by fish pokemon on each side for 25 yards. It was starting to make him claustrophobic. As he climbed back up, a pair of arms grabbed him, and yanked him on board. It was Golduck, who pulled Dalan into a powerful hug. “Gold! Golduck!”
“Nice to see you too Golduck. You wouldn’t believe the day I... had...” He looked up and noticed tons of birds flying over head. The number was... uncountable. “Why am I being swarmed with pokemon?” Several of them had landed on his boat, and one wingull had just landed on his shoulder. “Maybe you can tell me why I’m so popular.” He said to the bird. It squawked and nuzzled him with its beak.
He took a second to look all around him. Every where, fish were sticking their heads out of the water looking at him. Birds where fighting for space on his boat. He had always enjoyed the company of pokemon, however, he didn’t want to be swarmed by them! He slowly made his way back to the ship cabin. There’s no way a pokemon could have gotten down there. “Golduck, I’m retreating to the lower decks. Find a good place for us to beach.”
“Duck!” Golduck started the motor, after shooing away some floating birds and fish from the blades, and started steering the boat to a small island that wasn’t too far away.
In the chamber, Dalan removed his diving suit and gear. He had seen a Lugia, but now pokemon were constantly stalking him! “It would have been better if I had just gone swimming back to the boat instead of exploring that hole. I can’t go back to the dock with all of them following me.” He dried off, changed back into his normal clothes, and collapsed onto his bed. Maybe they’d clear out after a while. Something banged at the window. A pelliper was trying to get his attention. He waved.
His reflection in the mirror... did he look pale? Must have just been the color of the pokemon.

An hour later, the shuddering of the boat coming up on the sandy beach woke Dalan. “Uhh, here. “ Golduck opened the door, followed by the entourage of pokemon that had flown alongside the boat. He helped Dalan out of bed.
“Okay, I don’t want any of you guys staying down here when I leave.” He chorale all the pokemon out the door, and shut it firmly behind him. They had followed him to the island, but really, he didn’t expect them to stop. “I’ll camp out here for tonight.” He got off the boat, and walked onto the beach. The island was pretty small, about ten times the size of the far side desert islands, but it was a good place to camp.
When he looked behind him, Dalan noticed the huge flock of bird pokemon landing in front of him. They all vied for space near him, and occupied every inch of sand around him. One landed on each of his shoulders. “Guys, a little space please?” He turned around to go back to his boat, the island was mostly featureless, and it was probably more comfortable in his home.
When he was about to get back in his boat he looked into the water, “huh, what is...” He seemed incapable of panic, as the usual calmness that ruled Dalan’s life went into overdrive, and kept him from in place. His skin, was completely white. He wasn’t pale, he was albino. All he could do is stare at this, before golduck shook him.
     “Golduck! Old duck gold!”
“Uh... T-thank you golduck. What happened to me? How in the world? Golduck, why weren’t surprised by this?”
“Well, that’s what your skin supposed to look like great legendary.”
Scott twisted his head to look at his friend, by now nothing surprised him. “You spoke English. Someone please tell me I’m dreaming.” His head drooped down, and he took a spot on the sand to sit down on. The skin tone, the pokemon following him, understanding pokemon... it was the last he could take. His spirit was about to break down, what was happening to him? “I always wanted to talk to pokemon, I just didn’t think... if this is happening to me, I’ll only have pokemon to talk to. I can’t go back to the dock like this.”
He could now understand the speech of the pokemon around him, understand their calls, their names, and their concerns. All around the diver was a chorus of, “Why is the great legendary sad?” Then, the pieces in Dalan’s head finally fit together. They referred to him as the great legendary. There was only one pokemon that would have this color skin, and be a legendary. “I’m changing into a lugia.”
“I couldn’t believe my luck when I first knew. My trainer was to be the next legendary.” Golduck said.
Dalan had mixed feelings about it. The most powerful was shock. He stared at his hand, as if he were trying to decipher meaning from the lines in his skin, and wondered how long it would look like that. Another part of him was dread. He was losing his humanity, the only life he had known. But, the last emotion, and the one that was growing, was happiness.
Lugia was one of the most powerful creatures in the world, loved by all creatures every where. He started to think about what life could be like as a legendary. Spending days flying through the air, swimming, being free. Visiting millions of pokemon all over the world. And what was he leaving behind? A solitary life at the dock, doing nothing but fishing and diving for days on ends? The more he thought about the future, the happier he grew. All the pokemon around him changed with his mood. They all got happier as the man’’s expression changed from awe to joy. They all got closer to him, each trying to drown him in affection, and show their love for the next lugia. “I’m gonna be a Lugia!” He smiled wide. “I wonder how much more time I have left.” He got up and walked to the boat, no longer lost in the shock and awe that had followed him since he got the feather.
Dalan went down to his cabin, and got his fishing pole. He got back to the deck only to stare down Seel and Dewgong, holding fish in their mouths. “For me? Thank you!”  He grabbed the fish from them.
“It is our pleasure to aid you master lugia.”
“You guys.” He patted them on them head as they smiled wide. He looked at the fish, and was about to fire up his grill, when a strange thought occurred to him. “Should I eat them raw? No, my mouth’s not big enough. I’ll have to wait until later.” He opened his grill and started to cook.
The rest of the afternoon went by fine, each of the pokemon swarming around him. Dalan was once again lost in though about what his new life would be like. Hopefully, the other lugia would contact him, show him how to use his powers. It slightly bothered him that he had no idea why he was being transformed. Was the original dying? Was he to take his place? Well he’d find out eventually.

It was almost sunset. He was watching it laying down on the  beach, surrounded by his flocks of admirers. “The sunset is beautiful out here.” He looked out at the painting he saw. Several birds had cuddled up to him, and a Dewgong had possession of his left side.
Just as the world seemed completely peaceful, he felt a dull throb in his arms. It pulsed with his heart beat. Dalan lifted up his limbs, and looked at them. They were flattening. He could feel little more than the pressure of his bones reshaping. The formation was the same, but the bones themselves were flatter, constructed differently. His wrists and hands disappeared into his arms. Within a few seconds, his arms were reshaped into perfect wings.
He felt pressure in his nose and it felt like his spine was stretching. The sensation wasn’t painful just, uncomfortable. His nose and jaw pushed out into a beak. Individual points of pressure were every where in his mouth, as all his teeth were reshaped to be razor sharp. His eyes moved out to the from of his head, giving him a raptor’s sharp focus and line of sight. Dalan could feel his tail growing out, and he flailed it around as it grew, gaining control of the new muscles. It was long and slim. There were four points of stress at the end, and they grew into four large spikes. It was only four foot long, a good part of Dalan’s height. Feeling the foreboding pressing in his feet he tore off his shoes and socks. The bones flattened out just like in his arms.
Dalan’s skin, which had been pale white the entire time, now felt tingly. His belly turned blue, and small downy feathers started to grow. The transforming human tore of his shirt to see all the feathers growing. It took only a few seconds before he had a shiny coat of feathers over him. Then a though hit him. Why was he still wearing clothes? He pulled off his jeans and underwear, revealing his entire feathery body. Something in him felt completely free standing there naked.
A gentle warmth came over Dalan, and he could feel himself growing. Not only that, but his joints were moving, and so was his bone structure. His ribs pushed out, barrelling his chest. His legs, proportionally, became shorter, while becoming thicker and more powerful, and the angle between his legs and pelvis shifted dramatically causing his posture to change to a bird’s. His fingers each lengthened out, became flimsy. With sharp, painful cracks, Dalan's neck stretched out dramatically, but he couldn’t focus on his weight, and he nearly fell over forward. Luckily, his tail was growing out behind, countering the mass of his elongated neck.  His wings swelled with powerful, as his human muscles gained the strength needed to lift his massive form in to the sky.
Eight ridges appeared in the feathers on his back colored dark aqua. His mask started to grow in around his eyes, and stuck out a bit past his head. Dalan, having a free second from his metamorphosis, looked himself over, and believed his transformation to be over, but he was proved incorrect, as a sensation, like water freezing around his bones, took hold of his attention. They were hollowing out for flight, becoming light enough for him to lift. And with that, it was over.
“I’m a lugia...” He heard his own voice. It was more like singing than speaking, but he understood it perfectly. The power was almost over whelming, and Dalan was suddenly aware of his powers. The new legendary “roared” into the air before he felt powerful exhaustion grip his mind. He laid down on the ground, curled into a ball, and fell asleep, surrounded by the pokemon all around him.

The next morning, Dalan slowly opened his eyes. The sun was well up, and the light reflected off the smooth sea, basking him in the warmth. Dalan was vaguely aware of another large creature near him. Not one of the flocks that had come with him, another legendary. “Good morning dear, ” he heard a feminine voice say. A beak was suddenly pressed against his. “I hope you slept well.”
The ex-human lifted his head to get a good view of the creature next to him. It was another Lugia. He was guessing the original. “Somehow, I always thought you were a guy.”
She smirked, “Everyone always does. Women can be powerful pokemon gods to, you know.” She nuzzled him again. “I hope the transformation wasn’t too painful.”
“Hardly at all. More, strange than anything else.” Looking at the female Lugia was quite a treat. Dalan had always thought that Lugia looked cool, but she was simply beautiful. She was smaller than him, but she gave off an aura of intense power, more than he could ever hope to control. “uh, do you have a name other than Lugia?”
     “Yes, Elegia.”
“Okay, Elegia,” He thought hard about everything that happened to him in the past day. All of it made sense, except the root of it all. “Why did you transform me?”
She giggled. “Well, first, you’re cute. Second, you have a pure soul. You’re kind, giving. Most humans wouldn’t have thought about me when they were about to take my statue. You did. You’re the perfect mate. I couldn’t just let you get away.”
Dalan’s eyes opened wide. She wanted him to be her mate?! “Uhhh... Elegia, I’m not sure”
“Oh, Dalan, don’t be so shy. We could both use some company in our lives, and I’m sure you’ll find me a fun pokemon. I know we’ll be a perfect couple.” She started to nuzzle his neck.
“Well... you know for humans, its kind of customary to date first.” He enjoyed being nuzzled though. It was... relaxing.
“So, let’s go on one right now!”
      “What! I uh”
“You need to get used to your new body right? Lets go for a swim under water.” She stood up, and got to the water’s edge. “Well, come on!”
Dalan got to his feet and walked next to her. She lept into the air and dived into the sea as the water pokemon that followed them scattered to make way. Not wanting to get left behind, Dalan dived after her. In the water, he tried to swim with his wings, like a human would, but found himself floundering in the sea. Then, instinct hit him, and he flicked his tail. He shot forward like a bullet. Now that Dalan could swim properly, he took raced after Elegia. He put his ridges down, straightened his neck, and maximised his speed. It was what he thought flying would be like. A sense of total freedom.
After a few minutes, he found Elegia waiting for him. “Enjoy yourself?” He could only smile, and nod his head. Dalan just realised that he had been breathing under water for the past few minutes. It felt so... normal. He was brought back to the normal world, when two wings were wrapped around  him. “You look so cute floating like that!” He blushed and hugged back.
When she let go she still had that cute smile on her. “I saw a school of fish not far away, let’s get lunch!” She swam down, and he gave chase. Indeed there was a large school of sea fish, not pokemon of course, but plain fish. He snapped them up whole. It was no problem getting them. Nothing could swim faster than he could, except for Elegia of course.
As he ate, he looked around. The ocean was no longer the overwhelming presence it was before. Now... it was his home. The currents moving over his body felt like hands petting him down his spine.
With a few fish in his belly, he looked at Elegia. “So, how about we swim back to that island. I need to talk to Golduck.”
“Sure.” They both left, but this time, there was no competition. they both moved through the water at an even pace, enjoying the act, and each other. He was starting to think what she said, about them being mates. He hardly knew her, yet somehow, he was still attracted to her. All the legends about Lugia said she was incredibly kind, and helpful to those in need, not to mention brave. Perhaps that what attracted him to her.

They arrived back at the small deserted island. Without the Lugia there, all of the pokemon had left, except Golduck who was sitting on the boat. “Golduck!”
“Legendary Dalan! Thank you for coming to see me! Will you be staying with the other legendary?”
“Yes Golduck I will. I saw a family of golducks living in the Whirl islands. If you went to stay with them, we could still see each other.”
“That’s sounds great!” Dalan looked at his boat. It was the only real artifact of his human life. Something he was determined to leave behind.
“Golduck, could you do me a favor?”
     “Yes Lord Dalan! Of course.”
“First, stop this lord and great legendary nonsense. We’ve been friends for years! I’m still that same person you’ve always known.”
“Okay Dalan. Sorry. You are a pokemon god after all.”
“Secondly, take my boat out to sea past those buoys. It’ll get pulled into the Maelstroms and sink.”
“Sure, I can make it to whirl islands by this after noon if I’m taking your boat.”
“I’ll see you around there then. I have to finish my date.” He looked at Elegia before diving back into the water, where she followed.
     “So, you’ll be my mate?”
“It certainly looks that way Elegia.” He said with a smirk. She quickly wrapped her tail around his, and nuzzled his beak.
     “Wonderful”
She let him go, and sailed off into the sea, with Dalan right next to her. There were only two things on his mind. Elegia’s stunning beauty, and the water’s caress as he swam through the water at break neck speeds.

Probably one of my favorite TF stories. That may be biased due to it containing my favourite Pokemon, but your style of writing and description is truly superb.

Oh, and congratulations, this story is the first that I have faved

Uh... the ones you're reading... transformation from human to pokemon or dragon mostly. Some weight gain stories.

Digitalpotato:

Someone who sees the huge change in lifestyle as a positive thing. Ordinarily, in the big shock-rush of emotions that accompanies, everyone is afraid or of fear. (Not just with physical transfomations... Even those "zomg puberty new optionz&opritunitiez lawls!"-stories have that as well) Just because an old life is ending, a new life is still beginning. Even if the memories have to be lost, they adapt.

...Am I sounding PHILOSOPHICAL?! ACK! *smacks self with a Pow Hammer*

That was a cool story, though in some way i would think Golduck would have more emotion with Dalan. Ahh, still a cool story.

Jealousy. You managed to catch the whole spirit of Lugia and the Pokemon world, and the whole transformation. I am jealous. Jealous that you were able to tell it so well, and jealous that nothing like that will ever happen to me.
