I actually think it's a very good effect. My only suggestion is that you may want to change the color of the car. The yellow looks awesome against a dark background, but would be swallowed on a white background.

you should try The Gimp. Reasons:
1. It allows transparency
2. You can animate in it
3. There are plenty of tutorials on dA for it
4. IT IS FREE!!!!!
