Alright. let's see if I remember how to explain this..
If it's a drawing you scanned and you went over it make sure the drawing was set as background and the outline was on layer one, then just select the background and then use the erase tool and erase the background and there you gooooo.
but if you drew the image first in a sketch then outlined pretty much the same thing, make sure the sketch was background or layer one, and the outline on layer one or layer two.
if that's what you needed then yay
if not then well frig D:

But when you scan it the outline and the background are the same thing. I can't get the lines off the background to its own layer

But Akren is a very touchy feely type of person, He likes hugs. He's a musician and a starving artist. Hates his foster parents, but a very down to earth type of guy who likes his skinny jeans and hoodies. he plays the violin, piano, and bass. He likes his cigarettes and rum. He's sarcastic as all hell and can be really uptight. He's nice, and doesn't dig second chances. first impressions isn't something he goes by because he believes you gotta take the risk of getting to know the person further than that first chance meeting. He isn't afraid to open his mouth about something. He's bismexual. His favorite color is Blue. He doesn't get hyper often. cool calm and collected and a very disturb young adult with a few issues. [mpd, schizophrenia and Manic depressive.] He's blind in his left eye which is why he's got a swoosh XD He's got a thing for nature too.

On the surface Jay is about as anti-touchy feely as you can get. He doesn't like people. Doesn't want to touch people. Doesn't want to talk to people. Doesn't want people near him. But really he is very cuddley, but less then 10 people actuall know that. He just wants to be loved, really. SO he sleeps around to try and fill the void. But it just makes it bigger. He's a huge player because of this. He's a vampire, and was a vampire BEFORE vampires were "cool" - 3-; Born in 1888 in Loverpool, England, he has a thick Scouse accent. He loves cigarettes and liquor, but is trying to stop drinking. His mommy was murdered and his daddy killed himself because of it. He has a twin brother and a triplet sister. Usually he's very apathetic and doesn't give people any chances at all and just disregards everyone. If you get to know him and he lets down his very large wall, he's very artistic, and having been around for a while, he has learned most instruments. He's an incredible artist. Though he does have some issues himself. In a way he has MPD. When ever he tastes blood, he becomes Riley. His grandaddy is Satan (ftw), and he needs Jay to bring about the armeggedon. So he put "Riley" into Jay, as he needs Riley because Jay refuses to kill anymore. He is also schizophrenic, mainc depressive, and has severe cases of arachniphobia, eisoptrophobia, claustrophobia, autophobia, among others. He is a musician and has written many songs for many reputible bands and singers and has a very well known group himself where he preforms as an alter ego of sorts. His mother, Maibe, was sister to Nefertiti in Egypt and the Pharaoh wanted to wed her. She refused and ran away with a drifter, Jay's dad, Hachi. The Pharoah didnt want people to know he was rejected and took Nefertiti instead. His dad was infamous in England. Like the Rhett Butler of England. Everyone knew him and everyone knew he had loads of money. Dirty money. But women still swooned over him. He taught a church choir. All their wealth was passed to him and his siblings and due to his "career" of sorts, Jay still pulls in even more millions a year. Looks wise, he has long shaggy black hair with pink and blonde streaked through it and wild blue bangs. His left eye is gray (your right, and his right eyey is violet (your left). Which is why he has the swoosh bangs, because his eyes differ so much and his violet eye is really really VIOLET. He's 6'4, and way underweight. He has his hips pierced.

Akren's also underweight, has snakebites, his eyebrow, bridge and an industrial piercing. like Akren is really just a regular guy cause Akren is me as a dude so pretty much him and I are twinnnns o3o
He isn't very social and doesn't go out much unless he knows it'll be somewhere where no one knows him and won't throw themselves at him. like when I say he's touchy feely, it's only when he's like 100% comfortable with the person or in a relationship. He's perverse. very. very. perverse. He likes to kill pedophiles and what not because his biff had to live it her whole life from her brother. [one of the differences between him and I. he's a murderer. I am not XD]. He's been in love twice [I, once] and recently had his fragile little heart shattered by a bitch of a British boy.
Akren is German. and has a passion for London. [oh and he has foster parents whereas I do not XD] He does have an older brother.
Akren's got a troubled past, from being in denial of his sexuality and when he turned down his best friend for years because he didn't want to admit he wasn't straight, feels guilty for their suicide over it all, not knowing for years there was more to it than just getting turned down. He himself is a very destructive guy, he's been on suicide watch a few times. and has a collection of strait jackets. two of which he actually got from a mental institute. he's 20 XD [two years older than me =3=] and likes the cold. hates the heat. XD

Theya re pretty similar in many ways, I see. Jay is my male alter ego XD He was in an institution for murder of a little boy. He lacked reason for killing. It was just something he did. You know those anime pictures? Those ones where they look up at the character and they have a really mainc smile on their face? And they're like wiping blood off their face but their hands are all bloody and they just smear the blood everywhere. And the have like either really small pupils or non at all? And they look all crazy and killer-y? Yeah. We was like that. He has issues. Mostly with his dad (long story). He was in the institution for 10 years and one day, 3 years later, they let him out. He went about his life. He fell asleep one night, and when he woke up he found himself back there. His brother was there to take him home. He had hallucinated 7 years of his life. So because of that he's really paranoid and sometimes has "episodes".
Hey...since they both have really long stories...do you think we should RP them sometime? o 3o That way we could really SEE them

yeah like with Akren, his real parents are of royal decent. Truth is they do care about him, but at the time that he was born his momma and papa were in tough times and didn't want him to grow up in a bad family. but his foster father is like heavy duty religious like the type where they like freak out and get pissy when they see gay people. Akren ran away from there with his best friend and they got their own little place near a beach and have completely abandoned their families.
