I wanted to practice drawing some lionesses, so here you go!This was a 15 minute quick study...I mostly wanted to get the posture/attitude down, and then some really rough colors.
I LIKE EM ROUGH, and I always will.
This isn't exactly fanart, but I was def thinking of Sarabi when I drew this. Ask anyone, I am Lion King trash, and I love exploring the character lores. I am not a huge fan of the Lion King Remake for a whole cornucopia of reasons, but one thing I really enjoyed was the fact that Sarabi got a little more screentime treatment/backstory/drama in the remake. She's just a boss, and the remake showed this better than the original. There is *that.*
Anyway, again, this isn't *exactly* Sarabi, but she was in my mind.
