Pokemon Sun/Moon wasn't all that good, and didn't even try to look finished (yeah, looking at you Pikachu valley) and Ultra Sun/Moon was the game Sun/Moon should have been.
Story was okay, new Pokemon were cute. Would have liked more of the 'dysfunctional family tries to wreck a whole region' and less 'I'm gonna be better than gramps!', but that would have become too dark for a childrens game, I guess
Post-game with all the alternate-universe-bad-guys was spectacular

I went into moon mostly blind, and Mudbray was love at first sight. Cute little mule-donkey, and yay for cold-blood-horse representation!
Cutiefly is a smol yellow fuzzball. How can you NOT adore it?
A friend evolved my Rockruff into daylight Lycanroc, and for Ultra Moon I got an event Rockruff for the twilight form. I named him Edward.
Technically Minior is dying in this picture, but I wanted to show its color, since I spent a considerable amount of time searching for one that hadn't a yellow, pink or green core. Or orange. Yeah okay, I wanted a purple or a blue one.
Pancake Raichu is my spirit animal.
Jangmo-o is so grumpy. Lookithim how grumpy he is. Best smol grumpy baby dragon <3
