all your work is gorgeous. I love the ball clay pots you've done! I've never heard of such a thing before. Is it an original idea of yours?

you and your husband do such beautiful work! it's a joy to visit your galleries. He told me to come see your gallery. I am so glad that I did.

Thank you sooooo much for all the great attention and comments, I do appreciate them all...
I started the ball pots about 9 years ago, I have limited space to work in and rolling coils or slabs took up too much room to roll out, so I built some table top fountians using the balls and eventually I started to make vases with the balls... I sit watching TV with a wooden plate and roll away. It doesn't take up much space, but they are time consuming...

I really love the original solution to "not enough space for slab rolling or coil pots" -- so voila! teensy clay balls to be made slowly into pots.

do you have kids and if so, did they ever try to eat the interesting chocolate looking clay marbles?

Thanks!
No kids of my own, but Milo has 5 from previous marages. The youngest is 22 years.... So no one around to eat my clay.

This is amazing! It must have been hard to keep it symmetrical when building it out of all those little balls. Love the dragon and the colors, too!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! Yah, It can get a little off in places, as long as the bottom is cut well and round it makes it easier to keep it symmetrical.

I love how the smooth texture of the dragon contrasts with the uneven one of the vase...
