both she and the background are beautiful. her dress and isolation make her look vulnerable, but her posture makes her look strong. i like the contrast.

Yeah, decorative backgrounds get hard to do when you are doing them only because it takes so long. This is very nice. Nice composition and I like the fading to black! Excellent job on the figure! Great job! ed! What's the dimensions on this one btw?

You're right Steve - I think the bottom of the painting has photographed very light and she looks like she's floating. I'm going to get a better photograph just as soon as I can.
