Here's a drawing I did today. =3 I hope the new outfits that Kishimoto will(stress on will, dont make me look at that DUMBASS ORANGE SUIT ANY MORE!!!!) give to Sasuke and Lee look something like this.I think Lee would look hot in a sleeveless bodysuit. That way after 3 years of extensive training he can show off some muscle XD (Kishimoto better give is a 3 year skip with a brief summary T_T Otherwise it's gonna be boring)
Sasuke...eh I don't care what he wears as long as we see more sharingan and him getting his butt kicked.
Plot behind this fight?...um.....Ala:
Lee: "Here's a Youthful Happy Valantine wish from Sakura chan! To your SPLEEN!"

Dude. This is amazing. Especially the story behind it, biting sense of humour Lee! The pose and pencilwork shows a very good sense of power.
And boy i wanted to see his muscles too. Sadly Lee became really dumb, useless and personality-bland in shippuden WHICH DRIVES ME CRAZY BECAUSE I LOOOOVE HIM AND WANT MORE OF HIM!! Don't you?? It is only the fanwork that gets me thru these dark times..

I didn't notice any change whatsoever in Lee as far as Shippuden... maybe that's the problem. XD He;s had 2 years and got 0 development aside from looking more like Gai and being Chuunin. (And a crappy extra lotus thing if you watch the filler anime).

He HAS changed! He's just blank and useless. In the latest manga chapters, he has no reaction whatsoever to having konoha freaking wiped off the map! And the Sabi filler.. i wanted to wring his neck, but he was a bit more in-charaacter with his rushing into things in a headstrong way.. too hyper though. FAR too hyoer. Why is Kishimoto ignoring Lee so much? All of team Gai actually.

I think it comes down to catering to what the fans want based with personal wishes. Right now he's at a very heavy point in the story that's got alot of plot driving it forward, and he doesn't have time to waste on his supporting characters, even if they are better than his main cast haha. XD Team Gai as a whole didn't get much of a reaction to the event, but they were out of the village and found a Giant frog. We didn't get to see what happened when they actually got to the village, only when they found Hinata. But the few times he does get to appear and have a few lines in the shippuden arc, like with that whole race back to the village where he asks Neji to get on his back for the race, was hilarious.

You're reight about the plot tho. I should go easy on him there. I mean, i drew a picture of the Konaha nin as Akatsuki, and the think drove me freaking crazy just inking. You cant always put spotlight on everyone..

Rock lee is the most awesome, adamant charachter in Naruto. I can totally imagine a fight between him and sasuke. And considering their abilities, speed and everything, I honestly think Sasuke would lose. Sasuke just doesn't have enough rightous will in his heart to win against someone as determined as Rock Lee.(I meen he can fight while unconsious if he needs to for God's sake!)
