AJ needed an update so bad.... I was never happy with her design :,D so here's a completely new AJ, and I really like how she turned out!! based her around a palomino paint this time, instead of a buckskin like before. also referenced her G3 cutie mark because it's super cute, and I love AJ's G3 design.

AJ was previously paired with Soarin in my nextgen, but now she's paired with Luna! Luna really liked Applejack's down to earth attitude, and after Luna steps down, she moves in with AJ to sweet apple acres, where they continue to farm apples, but also dedicate one of the fields to flowers! Luna loves to tend to the flowers, and so does their daughter, Lovely Lilac. It's something for Luna to focus on after being overwhelmed with royal duties for centuries.

As for how Luna and Applejack really start getting to know each other, they find themselves sticking together at Twilight's first Grand Galloping Gala she's hosted since ascending to the throne. Luna isn't really sure what to do with herself, and Applejack was never one for big fancy parties, so they end up having a lovely talk together in the gardens for the entire gala. Luna asks to see Sweet Apple Acres, they begin to regularly see each other, some time passes, and Applejack asks Luna on a date!

Luna really appreciates how AJ sees her as just another pony. They have two daughters together, Lilac and Wildflower, and a son Harvest Moon (because yes of course I need a lunajack kid named harvest moon lol).
