a mildly refurbished MDD mkII that somehow found it's way to the Scorpion Touman. Now it is the ride of a Seeker, armed to his specifications, with paired LPLs in the arms, SSRM6s in each side torso, and a pair of SPL for antipersonnel work.

finally got something working a bit today. Just pure freestyle, an homage to the amazing color plate done by Steve Venters in the 1990 Battletech Compendium.

While I became a Summoner Stan based on performance, Virtual World, etc, my first love among Clan Mechs was the Vulture/Mad Dog, and that love affair was 100% started by Venter's painting of it.

This was muddied up a bit by the release of Mechwarrior IV Vengeance, with the re-imaginings done by Eddie Smith. Not only were the original designs amazing, but that Mad Dog? *chef's kiss*

So my solution? Combine the two, along with my custom load out of choice. Poster style and a distressed tee shirt style. Enjoy!

Notable Pilots: Seeker Venters. Venters was a mechwarrior and seeker within the Escorpion Imperio, prominent in the 3090s. Piloting a Mad Dog mkII "liberated" from the Ghost Bears at some point, Venters and his living tapestry kept searching farther afield for Star League artifacts, until his entire entourage, including the droship and jumpship simply disappeared sometime around 3100. Information uncovered after the Hanseatic Crusade indicate the may have encountered a rogue Comstar/Word of Blake enclave, but even this is mostly speculative.
