I DID NOT DRAW THIS! I COLORED IT!for ’s coloring contest!

Traditional coloring with a digital background
I had to buy about 40 bucks of new copic markers to get this done but that’s fine with me (i am running out of room though...my cigar box is full!!)
I love markers!
It’s my best medium
you don't even want to know how many i used for his skin alone
Took me a few days…more than a week…to color it because of it but that’s fine, I took my time to make it as awsome as I could so it would go up against her linework
I wish to one day have nice linework but I’m still working on it I will one day! ONE DAY!!!!
It was gonna have smoke but it was bothering me…made the marker work fade and I worked hard on it dammit! I didn’t want it to fade!
Done with copic markers and CS3 with tablet

This is absolutely gorgeous work!! I am tempted to ask what you used for a base color for skin, but as you mentioned you used so many that that question becomes irrelevant, haha; very well-done though, the blending is excellect. I love the smoothness of the colors overall. My favorite part are probably the sleeve ruffles - the multiple color combination is a fantastic detail to be added to this piece.

i wish i could tell you what the base was but not only cause it has lots of colors but it was long ago i can't remember for the death of me
