Well its legal were I live, I once saw someone walking theres on a little lead round shops! People definetly keep them as pets here, also it's quite a rare occurince.

Ferrets are awesome! Guarded is a good look. I'll have to keep this in mind as a gift idea for my friend once she moves with hers.
