A few brushes yes, but mostly from effects around the face I think, it turned out a little too white though! Today I would do a more traditional approach, maybe I'll rework it someday!

It's beautiful! I can understand why you thought it might be too white but what initially struck me and attracted me to the painting was the strong contrast between the the background and her bright skin.
