All I had ever known was hatred, wanting to be loved

At one point I did have a family, but it was ripped away from me

For some reason, I could only recall this emptiness where my heart should be

This constant dampening feeling in my soul, like being drenched with a heavy rain

But that all changed, when she arrived in my life.

She saw me for who I was really was, told me she wanted to walk by my side

When I tried to leave her, she was willing to follow down my dark path and share my pain

She was not afraid of me for the monster that I was,

And it was her who stopped the rain fall in my heart

For she's someone who never goes back on her word

Never gives up on chasing after me

Always seems to have hope where despair should be

Always believes in me with all her soul.
