Ok here's the place for my rant you don't have to read it if you have better things to do.

Where to start? Hmmmm... I have herad about Escaflowne many years ago, but I haven't seen the series until now. I've watched the tv series and then the movie. I felt in love with the series in an instant, the story, amazing music(especially during fights) and awesome characters, especially Van. He's first class bishonen, impulsive but also kind and caring, and those wings omg! Lol I know that it's quite immature and silly for such old, almost 23 years old hag like me to have crush on cartoon character, well I can't help it =_= I also ship Van x Hitomi, I think they fit together, so during watching I was waiting impatiently for every moment where they were showing that they care for each other and wasn't waiting at all for Allen to show and destroy everything. At first I was really angry with Hitomi because of what she was doing, she had crush on Allen, then was confused and realised her feelings towards Van at the end(gosh girl why didn't you do it earlier? D: ), but then I understood her feelings a little( I guess I could have been in a little similiar sitiuation ). Overall the story was really good, I love fantasy anime form 90's they are different form classic western fantasy but they have something special, I don't know exactly what is it, I like them anyway. Nowadays I only watch old anime, new series are in most cases shitty as hell, ecchi and moe everywhere blah! Back to escaflowne, I was watching one ep after another I loved it until I reached the last ep. End of the war, everyone is safe, everyone is happy and then Van and Hitomi part. WTF!?PART AND NOT EVEN A LITTLE KISS AT THE END!? ARE U F... KIDDING ME AUTHORS? That's like the worst ending, if she wanted to go back that desperately why authors didn't give Hitomi the power to visit Gaea anytime she wants? Few eps earlier travel between the worlds was possible, so why not at the end as well? whyyyyyyyyy? I was so angry at the end, I could throw my laptop through the window, during the rest of the day I was in really bad mood. I say that again, I loved the anime and if it had different ending it would be my ultimate favourite anime ever, but no, not with that shitty ending! Next thought that appeared in my mind was that: if official ending doesn't satisfy me I'll collect as many doujinshi as I can! So I opened ebay in my explorer, seached and found many positions. I was really happy until I saw the prices, average one was between 20-30 $ 30 dollars dammit?! for some people it may be not much but for poor student like me 30 $ is money to buy food for almost 2 and a half weeks! Dammit! Someday I'll be rich and I'll buy tons of Van x Hitomi doujinshis I promise! D:<
