Well, it doesn't look like spring or summer here... it is snowing. But here comes my spring deviation anyway. I hope it makes you feel warmer.I got inspiration for the sun shining through leaves from this exceptional work by Raipun : raipun.deviantart.com/art/Froz…

This is a really good job. The colors are sober and elegant and really well chosen, I particularly like that slight touch of reddish blush on her cheek in contrast to her grayish-blue eyes. The calm and warm sun light gives a really innocent feel to the picture, and makes me feel at peace.
I would give to it a little bit more of definition to her face and her shoulders because, since it's a really photographic painting, the excessive softness makes it almost look like is out of focus, because you can clearly see the texture of the wallpaper in the background and it enters in conflict with the soft look of the portrait. I would give just a tiny darker tone to the line that divides her lips and some on the neck too. Not too much, it should still keep that softness that characterizes it so well. Keep it up!!

Well, to start with, I actually thought this was a soft-focus photo when I saw the thumb, so kudos on that! I especially like/envy the dappled sunlight!
The only suggestions I could make, on closer inspection, would be to maybe increase the contrast of the darkest shadows--like under the neck, the nostrils, and the like. Also maybe add some highlights to the hair?
Like I said, it does look a lot like a soft-focus photo, so if that was what you were going for, I don't have a lot of suggestions.
