So here is my idea. If AshxSerena happens (which I really want to happen because it will be the first ship that I've had that didn't succeed other than nejiten but i don't count character deaths). It will either happen in the movie when ash "dies" (the probability of that happening is high especially because of ylveltal.) because Serena would reveal her feelings in her sorrow. The other way is that ash loses the kalos league and becomes more depressed than he did during Gen. 1. Serena will help him through it and then the relationship will spark. I really want it to happen but beyond those two scenarios I don't know if its possible. Comment below on your thoughts, opinions, and ideas. I want to create my first discussion.Related content

This is the first time i have seen ash not fighting with her girl companion friend, not to mention that he seems to like to talk with serena and be supportive with her, not that he hasnt been supportive with his other girl companions but something feels different in the air

It had to tell because Miette, Bonnie and Sannah know about Serena crush on Ash so maybe they have something to do with Amourshipping being cannon

BlackOtakuZ : Its difficult to say how Amourshipping will happen. I dont think that it will happen before the end of the Kalos League and Kalos Queen showcasts, because romance is a sensitive theme. For me there are actually four possibilities for Amourshipping:
1. It will not happen in XY, but Serena still travel around with Ash in another region.
2. Serena confess her feelings to Ash by a dangerous scenario (like Ylveltal or Zynegards 100%-form, maybe the Ultimate Weapon of Team Flare).
3. Ash is on the way to leave the Kalos region and Serena stops him at the airport (or something else) and confess her feelings.
4. Ash get confrontated with Serenas feelings by another person like Miette or Bonnie (maybe Miette, Bonnie and Sannah together, who knows?) and has to think about his own feelings for Serena. Maybe he confess his feelings to Serena.
Well, we only get an answer in the Pokemon series, but I would also like that Serena and Ash become a couple because I like them both, especially Serena! It would be really sad, if Serenas feelings get not reply by Ash
