Great photo. first I thought oh you get into some cool photo manipulation stuff with PhotoShop, but than in the bigger few it seem that it is miniature model inside the torso
Except the front flap. It has some kind of opacity that is unnaturally or like make 2 pictures on the same film frame.

The only manipulation is the combination of two frames - one with it open, and one with it closed. Stacy built this thing inside of a mannequin - besides the moss, there's the mechanical insides of a music box which we wired up to a small motor, and some other things.
