The funny thing is that people hate rats.. they want to kill rats in any ways, but looking at a picture like that people usually think "aww, poor little mouse.."
but there's nothing wrong with don't liking rats, since they live in drain and transmit illness. But they're living beings as well... to be honest, I think humankind is worst than rats is this way...no ofense for this.

Very smart of you to crop the cigarette in with the mouse. The eye, closed and arched as it is, seems so peaceful. I love the detached tail as well. Kudos on the framing, I don't know why but it looks a lot better with a frame.

Thank you very much!! The tail is not detached fully, but looked mostly chewed through or something. I thought, wow, that's such a beautiful mouse. And I too thought it ironic next to the cigarette butt. Puts it in perspective of size too.
I started titling and framing my photos when i realized it made them look really professional.
And the cat photo, I saw and faved long ago.

I'm sure it died of natural causes, like all nice mice ought to. Aside from the base of its tail being slightly mangled somehow, it looked very lovely and peaceful.
