Female cub that I adopted from I would like you all to meet Usha.

Usha is a female lion, born in a lost valley hidden deep in Africa. She was born with gray fur and violet eyes. Usha had dark colored fur on her body that was formed in markings. There were many lions in her pride with the same body patterns as her.

Usha was taught as a young cub that her pride lived in a valley unlike any other, but the valley resided near a volcano. One day, then volcano erupted and destroyed the valley. There were lions, lionesses and cubs who were far from the valley hunting when it happened. with their home destroyed, the lions traveled Africa and found a new home hidden deep within a lost forest. The forest was guarded by giant spiders, who allowed the lions to pass through and enter the valley. The spiders and lions became rather good allies.

Usha rather enjoyed the spiders company and learned about their history. She would sometimes go into the forests and visit them. Most nights when it was cold, the spiders would cocoon the Cubs in webs to help keep them warm. Usha and the Cubs rather enjoyed the webs, for they felt cozy.

Usha liked to travel the valley, for it was vast and full of life. Usha lived with her parents Woku and Kitashi. She did everything with them and played with her friends. Usha wanted to explore the lands that were outside the forests, for her pride never left the valley for many years. Usha often kept that fact to herself and the spiders. They would help her climb the tallest trees and get a view of the lands outside the valley forest. One day, Usha wanted to see it all.
