An experiment in color that's been hanging around my computer for a while, I didn't want to post it, considering that I feel it turned out too dark, but when I think on it, I worked too hard on it to let it go unseen. So...here it is; the purple nightmare.Related content

the colour are brilliant, it may be a little dark but that just makes the veiwer to have to look a little closer which is never a bad thing. the commet really works welll witht the overall compostion.
ove the colours, the sky is the same colour as my at the moment hair

As has already been said you needn't have worried about it being dark or that the colouring is wrong it isn't and the colouring is great. It has a rich feel to the whole picture almost like running your hands over velvet (ok weird analogy but I hope you get my point). It has great texture and you have been able to capture the whole scene wonderfuly.
The shooting star looks great and helps the eye be drawn around the image which a lot of picture don't have. You should be really pleased with this.
