Its biological adaptations, which it uses to help focus its energy, has inspired aspiring witches and practitioners since ancient times.

It was once hunted for the crystal orbs on its head, since people believed it could help them predict the future and talk to dead Pokemon. Trying to force it to use its powers of divination unwillingly can be quite dangerous, and it has been known to enlist the aid of other Ghost Type Pokemon in times of great need. They are quite recluse, but trainers who befriend them have had great successes in almost everything they do.
