How do you make the NSP less sticky while you work? And what do you use to smooth it out?

I don't use anything to make it less sticky, I just keep working it with my fingers. I use 90% alcohol or low odor mineral spirits to smooth it out.

No, I didn't finish it. It was basically a sketch piece sculpted in chavant.

Agreed! Very nicely done. Usually people dont put much expression into their illithids, but yours has a look of mean intelligence and his tentacles are very disturbing!
