Creatuanary* day 5- Surtur
"In Norse mythology, Surtr (Old Norse "black" or "the swarthy one") is a jötunn.
Surtr is foretold as being a major figure during the events of Ragnarök; carrying his bright, flaming sword, he will go to battle against the Æsir, and the major god Freyr of the Vanir. Afterward, the flames that he brings forth will engulf the Earth."
*Creatuanary is about drawing a creature each day of January, and those who participate has to follow the prompts. Every day it's something different, but you can do with it basically whatever you want, the medium doesn't matter. I really enjoy it because this way It's not entirely up to me what to draw, but I have a starting point, a basic idea I can evolve and shape the way I want. It's good for brainstorming and keeping the work mentality alive, but also the short timeframe makes me not overdo anything.
