My second(ish) strongest character, Onya, wearing traditional Diimon clothes
She's been through some story changes since I last introduced her. Before she was just human but I have changed her to half human, half Diimon. Just like Rita, she was kidnapped and brainwashed at a young age by the same captors, and played a key role in their escape. Because she is half Diimon, she has had to cope with extreme racism her entire life and was even publicly humiliated by a group of scumbags who beat her down, tied her up and sawed off her horns. Diimons are known for their loyalty, and Onya has formed a very special bond with Rita because they've always sought comfort from each other through all their adversities.

It's very nice to see a black ninja, and i am glad it is on dA, because i cannot find jack squat on google....but this will be in the art hall of fame and plus of all orang is one of my favorite colors...or in a comic about the character's life as a hero,i like it, i've never seen it on dA, or should add the artist to my +watchers... i don't know what to say...i'm practicing on shading/shadow tones...but if ya wanna add me to your watch, i'l uploading more artwork for you all to see..

Hey love this character. I knew from the thumbnail. In the enlarged image the pants/straps/overall lay of the pants seems a little off. Maybe she so fit it would actually work but it looks slightly uncertain. I love the outfit and think it would make a world of difference if it was higher on her bodoy (say if she was a life size person about 3inches up would make a world of difference.) You know I respect your work a lot and admire your completeness in your composition. You are very thorough with your character designs. I like the color scheme and the looks in her eyes. Definitely a favorite out of your whole line of characters you have made thus far. Keep it up

Yes, youre right about her pants being too low. It's a concept that im still working out but what i basically wanted to do was to create an outfit that portrays a traditional but yet loose and free-spirited culture. When I was coming up with the design, in my head I was thinking of a japanese hakama with the open sides for that traditional look, but with the looseness/lazyness and sag of sweatpants lol
I would imagine they would eventually fall off though...but, im still working it out lol

Really great character design, and super well drawn other than that ear and the hands on the hips. That position would be uncomfortable exactly like that.

Well, yes, elf ears. But if you were to rotate her head to straight up and looking to the left, the tip of the ear would be pointing at a downward angle. Is this correct? o_O I mean, it's fine if it is correct, they could have small ears and be turned downward. xD I'm not familiar with the species. Nevermind.

I would critique but you are leagues better than I am lol. Anyway what I can say is nice job on the color scheme their is a lot of energy behind it. What you could try doing is adding something to the white space so your character doesn't look like she is standing in blank space. Other than that besides the ear looking a bit low (might just be because it is an elf-like ear) it's fantastic. Fav'd.
