's prize for winning my contest ^_^ I hope you like it! It's my first time ever painting a sculpture. I spent a long time on it
Hope it's accurate to your Vinera!Sculpey and acrylic paint.

That is totally amazing....I think its probably the best sculpture I've seen on DA so far. It's like she just stepped out of one of your drawings! And the ribbons are lovely. What a great prize and no wonder so many people entered!

Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost you to produce something like that? Time, materials, etc?

Sculpey only costs about $5, and I use tin foil for the center so not much expense to make but this took me a few weeks to complete

Thats really cool! I wouldn't mind sculpting, but I can never stop the stuff from cracking all the time =/

Have you tried sculpey? If that's what you tried and it still cracked, maybe try molding a middle with foil first... it helps in a lot of ways, also make sure to press it all together evenly so that it's solid.

I've ALWAYS wanted to do a Super Sculpey model of one of my characters! NOW I'm inspired to tackle that chore! (also I have to look into this contest of yours....)

I just recently started to work with the clay I got for christmas and I even thogh I chose something easier... it's not easy. And I can only dream of having so many details. ^^

Well it's really not as smooth as other sculptures I've seen, making it look smooth is the tough part. But a lot of it is just tricks like the hair etc. also it helps having long nails

It's just clay, but it only hardens when you bake it so you have lots of time to complete. I get it at wal-mart
