Part 1 of a trade done with
Done in a fashion as a mock of faux renaissance paintings in terms of pose and some lavish-ness...
Execution and technique... much work to be had.
ANYWAY- their character Robert Guiray, is not afraid of swinging his money around... however he's not one to be taken lightly either. This ability is near par with his desire to be a king despite basically having all but the blood to do so legitimately. But that won't stop him from pretending to be like one.
And thus a faux king poses in his pride.

I mean, just look at this. My half of the trade does not in any way shape or form compare to this! Seriously, just give me your painting skills NOW! This is like, perfection! The pose, that brilliantly smug expression, the details, the lighting and texturing, and the way you have completed and utterly nailed his personality and motivations. If I didn't know better I'd say that this was your character, not mine. (And I still say that if his king caught him doing this there'd be hell to pay for sure!)

The title gave me a good chuckle, a nice start to my day. But this is really amazing. Awesome job. ^_^ Great character too, I don't see this type around a lot.
