...Actually it's just lineart.
Yeah... it's been forever since I've drawn one of my OCs. I've had more design sketches of him after this >>> [link] ... and this >>>[link]
So far I like the style I have for this current "him".
Nowadays he's supposed to be uber-freakin' tall...not sure if I pulled that off well with this pose, but it's somethin' different. Also gave digital line-arting a try again.
I still gots a ways to go though before this pic's complete. And I haven't shared any linearts in a while.

I love the agile pose and clothing details. The pose inspires movement and liveliness, and the multiple fold lines in the clothing show that he is moving quickly, with the wind pulling against his shirt and pants as he moves and stretches in mid-air. It all looks so simple, but I can understand how hard it is to makea detail seem casual or even random and yet purposeful.
The outfit is cool, too. The top hat and pocketwatch and very trandtional, while the shirt, pants, and boots are fairly new age. Its contemporizing an old-fashioned look for the present age, like those new concept cars inspired by Model-T designs, etc.
How do you make some of the clothing lines lighter than the others? Do just use pencil? Well done

It's more or less using a darker/softer pencil (ei, 4B, 6B, etc.). Another part being a lighter pressure with said tool

Aww wow, I really love this! I adore how the pose came out, very full of action and such. X3 And I must say I simply adore the way you draw hands, they look so natural! Are you planning on colouring this? I bet it would look even more amazing, fully coloured and all. <3 Love how naturally his clothes fold. Great work on this

Actually I do plan on coloring it, but I don't know how long it'll be until I get done with the finished thing.

oh yeah the guy with the funny hat i remember him. hehe and he looks even more cool now. i like his evolution. now hes more anthro. the anatomy of his body is pretty well done and of course i like his pose too. hehe those gloves are so cool adn cute. i want them. i like the way you did his hat and of course i like his big hat. well you know that. the lines are clean and well done. now.... color it!

I missed too many episodes to understand the ending.. It was okay though. Just another giant robot anime, to me. XD However..
